Viper Club of America Kansas City region
Mission
The Kansas City Region of the VCA is one of the newest, having been founded in June of 1999. A major metropolitan area with numerous Vipers, the area was split by the Gateway Club in St. Louis and the Kansas/Oklahoma Club in Tulsa. We started with just 10 members have have since grown to well over 100. The Kansas City Region includes Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, and Western Missouri. We have since grown to over 100 and continue to add more each year.

Our goal is a simple one: To have an active club that offers something for everybody. The cars don't make up the membership, the people do. As a result, the Kansas City VCA is active in racing, showing, cruising, and just general get togethers. We offer everything from a progressive dinner cruise to drag racing at Heartland Park or KCIR. We want all of our members and their guests to feel right at home in the Kansas City VCA. Unlike many regional clubs, we welcome other serious car enthusiasts as paid Associate Members in the club - whether they own a Viper or not. We share a common interest and we hope have many of the same goals.

Welcome to our website and we hope you enjoy your stay!

Officers
PresidentBill Corum, President wcorum@blackwellsanders.com
Bill started with the club a few years ago with his lovely bride Shawna and they have been enjoying it ever since. Indeed, they were so thrilled with their gorgeous 1999 Viper GTS that they added a beautiful 2006 SRT10 Coupe to their stable this past year. You can see them at most Viper events and area cruises in one of their cars. Bill's term runs through 2008.

Vice PresidentJerry Dobson, Vice President/Treasurer jerry@kansascityvca.com
Jerry drives a stunning 1998 GTS and is the most active member in the club. He is deeply torn between leaving his car (with 647 coats of Zaino) in the garage or taking advantage of his engine mods on an already very strong car. You can find this single guy at many cruises, usually surrounded by 30 import cars. Jerry also organizes numerous impromptu cruises and is also the Vice President of the local Ferrari Club.  His term runs through 2008.

TreasurerKurt Echols, Treasurer kurtechols@comcast.net
Kurt joined our club a couple years ago with his effervescent bride Chellie. He owns a beautiful 2001 RT/10 in Viper yellow - reputed to be the fastest color on the planet. With one son and another on the way, we knew this was the guy we wanted pinching pennies for club. He really knows the value of a dollar these days!  Kurt's term runs through 2008.

SecretaryRon Kooser, Secretary rckooser@aol.com
Ron joined the club in 2005 as an Associate Member with his wife Cathy and their SRT10 Dodge Ram. He enjoyed his time with the Viper Club so much that we went out and bought a gorgeous Gen I RT/10. He traded that beauty and his truck for a new 2006 SRT10 Roadster this past year. One our most enthusiastic members, Ron's term runs through 2008.
